OMEP world project

31. mars leverte OMEP Norge inn «Summary report. OMEP world project on sustainable development – Norway». Den norske studien er del av OMEPs verdensstudie «OMEP World Project on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)», som blir sammenfattet og presentert på verdenskongressen i Göteborg – august 2010. Jamfør:

«There are already more than 100 abstracts submitted for the theme Education for Sustainable Development, making the congress the largest conference on ESD within Early Childhood Education. We are looking forward to some really good presentations and discussions on ESD. The OMEP World Assembly in Lagos 2009 decided on the world project on ESD. We are happy to announce that 30 OMEP committees have signed up for the project and have been interviewing children about the OMEP 2010 Congress logo. Many OMEP members from different parts of the world have organised informal interviews with children 1-8 years. At this very moment, we know that the national project leaders are busy analysing the results and preparing a project report to the OMEP World project leaders.

The project idea has been to introduce and invite children and professionals to discuss Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). The aim of the project is to collect information about young children’s thoughts, comments and understanding of the OMEP 2010 Congress logo. During the open congress symposium about the project the different national reports will be brought up.»
